Helen Doron Educational Group was awarded Most Valuable Corporate Response for Inspiring Global Support During COVID Pandemic.
Helen Doron Educational Group is proud to announce that they recently received a Bronze Award from the highly prestigious Stevie Awards for Women in Business, honouring women executives, entrepreneurs, employees, and the worldwide companies they run. The Stevie Awards have been hailed as the world’s premier business awards. Award winners were determined by the average scores of more than 160 business professionals worldwide, working on eight juries. This is quite an honour for the entire Helen Doron franchise network.
Helen Doron Educational Group won the Bronze Award in the “Most Valuable Corporate Response” category for Inspiring Global Support During COVID Pandemic. More than 1,500 entries were submitted this year for consideration in a number of categories. Other companies receiving awards in COVID-19 Response categories included IBM, Hilton, Turtle Tots and other globally acclaimed businesses.
The distinguished Stevie Award judges include many of the world’s most respected executives, entrepreneurs, innovators, and business educators and they were very impressed with the international company’s efforts, especially as these are very challenging times. Some of their comments include:
“A wonderful response to deliver significant and engaging learning opportunities during COVID. Essential for children and their parents! Delivering this at minimal to no cost and encouraging children to be multilingual will support them for the future, now that we are more a global community than ever before. Great achievement.”
“Your work in keeping children entertained, educated and constructively occupied during the pandemic is much appreciated. It is amazing how you were able to pivot and adapt your work to the need of the hour. Well done.”
“An outstanding entry – one of the best I have read. Your supporting documentation was excellent, with the initiative impacting children around the world. Congratulations.”
“Great pivot to online learning by innovative use of technology. Also, the communications with parents were helpful and effective.”
CEO and Founder Helen Doron comments, “As with the three previous Global Franchise Awards and the Women in Business Award, this honour is for everyone in our network as we continue to provide the full support and guidance required for business and educational achievement during an unexpected global pandemic.
Winning this award highlights our commitment to providing 24/7 support to our franchise organisation, serving as an example of how important it is to respond positively to a crisis and use it as an opportunity to extend the brand. Our franchisees and teachers are very appreciative of all the materials provided and many of them increased their student numbers, as parents needed alternative educational options to keep their children occupied and learning while at home. Our pedagogic team widened to include our teacher trainers worldwide, and together we created over 800 interactive online lessons within a month. We trained over 4,000 active teachers, and kept our students learning, thanks to all of our dedicated and passionate learning centre professionals.
Daily tips were also created for parents, so they knew they could depend on us for stimulating activities in addition to the online lessons, empowering them to take advantage of the time at home with their children. Games, activities, educational videos, and even complete lessons, were offered free of charge through varied digital channels. Thank you to everyone in the Helen Doron family, including all of our franchisees, teachers, students and parents, as you are all an integral part of our success!”
